Biography:

Dr Jaccarini graduated in Medicine at the University of Sheffield (UK) in 1982, and following 2 years of basic medical training, undertook initial Anaesthesia training in Sheffield and Cambridge. He gained his fellowship of the Royal College of Anaesthetists in 1986 and this was followed by a registrar exchange to Brisbane where he gained further experience in the field of liver and other organ transplantation. Dr Jaccarini returned permanently to Australia the following year, where after a short stint with the Flying Surgeon in outback Queensland, saw him move to Adelaide to complete further anaesthetic training and where he commenced private practice with Specialist Anaesthetic Services in 1991.
